Mobile DJ Trade Tips - Issue 47 - The Write Stuff!

Write Words With Little Dots!

As a mobile DJ business operator, there are many occasions when you need to put pen to paper, or in modern day terms, fingers to keyboard. The quality of your writing, whether it's in emails or copy for your website, will affect how a client views you.

From our on-going client survey we recently received the following comment, "If he couldn't be bothered to check his reply for spelling mistakes how can I be sure he'll be bothered on the night". Of course we know that being a great DJ has nothing to do with grammar but if you lose business because of it then it's worth looking at closer.

You don't need to have a degree in English to produce a well written email or website. Making sure though that there are no glaring errors will immediately put you in the class of 'professional' so it is worth taking care and reviewing thoroughly before sending or publishing.

In this Infomail, we will be taking a look at the most common mistakes and how to put them right.
